1,361 exhumed bodies were brought to Háj from 69 Liptov villages of the districts Liptovský Hrádok, Liptovský Mikuláš, Ružomberok and Dolný Kubín. 1,325 of them were exhumed in the region of Liptov and 36 in the district of Dolný Kubín. read more
Many fallen men were exhumed and buried in their home villages. The list of buried soldiers along with the names and grave numbers is located to the left of the stairs that run to the memorial.
