Benefits of the resort: Jasná Nízke Tatry, as the largest ski resort with excellent conditions for winter sports in Slovakia, offers plenty of activities, entertainment and active relaxation on the north and south sides of Chopok. You can reach the top of mt. Chopok by the most modern Funitel cable cars or 15-seater cable cars. The resort offers 50,74 km of perfectly groomed slopes of various difficulties, suitable for beginners, families with children, advanced skiers and also for organizing world-class races. Lovers of wild riding will find their way in many freeride zones and in the great DCsnow park. In the evening, you can ski in Jasná on the illuminated slopes in the Biela Púť and Brhliská location.
Cross-country tracks: In Jasná, cross-country skiing enthusiasts will also enjoy themselves, for which circuits with a length of up to 5 km are prepared in the Zadné vody area. 4. Žiarce-Pavčina Lehota
Benefits of the resort: The Žiarce ski area is located at the foot of the Low Tatras, at the entrance to Demänovská Dolina in the village of Pavčina Lehota. Every skier will certainly find something for himself in the resort. Mechanical snowmaking of the entire downhill track is ensured, and a suitable orientation to the north creates conditions for maintaining a high-quality snow cover until spring.
Downhill tracks and lifts: The resort has 4 lifts and 5 downhill tracks of varying difficulty from difficult to easy. The total length of the slopes is 1.28 km.

5. Ski Opalisko-Závažná Poruba
Benefits of the resort: Ski center Opalisko is located on the northern side of the Low Tatras, above the village of Závažná Poruba. The family-type center will certainly suit even less skilled skiers. There is a children's area for the little ones, a toboggan run, or a natural ice rink.
Downhill tracks and lifts: 5 ski slopes with artificial snow covering a total length of 3.2 km, 4 lifts and a chairlift provide sufficient comfort without long waiting in lines.
Cross-country tracks: The center also has a running area with lighting with a total length of 30 km and many other interesting sports events.

6. Ski center Žiar-Dolinky
Benefits of the resort: Ski center Žiar-Dolinky is located at the foot of the southern slopes of the Western Tatras. The resort is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate skiers.
Downhill tracks and lifts: The length of the slopes is 0.65 km. There are 2 ski lifts, 2 mechanically snow-covered slopes and one slope for the smallest skiers in operation in the area. Žiarska dolina -valley is also suitable for lovers of ski mountaineering and very skilled skiers. The resort also offers its visitors the possibility of evening skiing.
Cross-country tracks: In case of suitable weather conditions, there are well-maintained cross-country trails within a radius of 10 km.

7. Ski park Malinô Brdo
Distance: 28 km from Liptovský Mikuláš and only 2 km from the center of Ružomberok, on the slopes of Veľká Fatra, at an altitude of 545 to 1,209 m above sea level. m. The gateway to the resort is the Hrabovo district (only 1 km from the town center).
Benefits of the resort: Ski park Malinô Brdo is suitable for snowboarders and skiers - freestylers. Try riding on special "snowtubing" rubber tires, cross-country skiing or ski mountaineering. You can also find ski and snowboard equipment rental here.
Downhill tracks and lifts: A modern 8-seater cable car leads to Malinô Brdo (length 1,770 m, transport capacity 1,500 persons/h). In the center of the resort there is a 4-seater cable car, 2 ski lifts and 4 lifts for beginners and children. 12 km of downhill tracks are available in the resort, the longest of which measures up to 3,900 m and overcomes a height difference of 698 m.
Cross-country tracks: In the center you will also find a circuit for cross-country skiers with a length of 1.5 km with an elevation of 70 m. It is especially suitable for those who like the skating style of cross-country skiing. The circuit will be open if there is enough natural snow.

8. Ski center Bačova roveň
Distance: 28 km from Liptovský Mikuláš
Benefits of the resort: Ski center Bačova roveň ski extends into the northern side of the Low Tatras. The resort has slopes of all difficulty levels. Three Tatrapoma H and S and Doppelmayer ski lifts with a total transport capacity of 1800 people per hour represent the most modern technology with a high level of security. They are equipped with turnstiles with contactless ski passes. They are used for recreational skiing by the public, but also for organizing ski courses and competitions.
Downhill tracks and lifts: There are 3 ski lifts and 3 slopes in the resort area. The total length of the slopes is 2.96 km. The slopes are technically snow-covered and groomed daily.

9. Ski center Čertovica
Distance: 32 km from Liptovský Mikuláš
Benefits of the resort: The ski resort is located on the northern slopes of Čertová svadba (1463 m.a.s.l.), on the main ridge of the Low Tatras. The higher location of the resort (1120 – 1460 m.a.s.l.) guarantees great skiing and good conditions for experienced skiers as well as beginners.
Downhill tracks and lifts: The resort has 5 lifts and 6 slopes of varying difficulty with a carrying capacity of 2,300 people, so it can be used by beginners as well as advanced skiers. Recreational skiers and freeride lovers will also find their place.
