The cycle path in Liptovský Mikuláš can be used all year round. In winter, if there is enough snow cover, it turns into a groomed cross-country track. Enthusiasts of this sport enjoy undisturbed moments of cross-country skiing in the wonderful natural environment of the longest Slovak river. The trail runs in the section from the highway feeder to the bridge to Okoličné and is used not only by locals, but also by residents of Ružomberok and the surrounding villages.
