Just 15 km from the town you will find the world-famous Jasná ski resort. Within a radius of 35 km you can choose from eight other ski resorts, which are also open (opeartion of the ski centers depends on snow conditions). Convenient transport to the slopes of Jasná and to the popular Tatralandia water park will be provided by SKI BUS, which operates in main season from December 26 till March 9. During the spring skiing season and the Easter period, ski buses operate in a limited mode from March 10 to March 23 and from April 17 to April 21. Other resorts are easily accessible by car or public transport.
