Bike trail

You can enjoy cycling, in-line skating or scootering in the beautiful clean environment on the banks of the longest river in Slovakia, River Váh. There are 3 bike shelters along the trail, several benches and playgrounds and workout playgrounds near the trail.

There is a Park Tool and Rock Machine service point at Hotel Lodenica, where cyclists and skaters have free access to a pump and basic tools if needed. The 6,6 km long bike trail runs from the town section of Ondrašová along the Paludžanský and Vrbický bridges up to the bridge in the town section of Okoličné. The trail along the embankment of the River Váh in Liptovský Mikuláš is part of the implemented project "Historical, cultural and natural route around the Tatras" which, when completed, will include bike trails, ski trails, nature trails, cross-country runs and will make unique places accessible, with high landscape, cultural, historical and natural value on both sides of the Tatras with a length of more than 250 km.

Bike trail - Forest Park Háj-Nicovô

The bike trail runs from a railway station alongside the railway line up to the hill Haj-Nicovo. After a challenging climb, cyclists are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Liptov region. More info

Town bike trail

Although the historic centre of Liptovsky Mikulas is a pedestrian zone, cyclists are allowed to enter it. They can move safely along the marked bike trail – an asphalt belt, which leads through the entire historic centre. More info

Available not only for athletes who grow up in Liptovský Mikuláš, but also for a wide range of athletes and the public. More info

Pump track

Try riding a bicycle only by shifting your weight and without pedaling. The track is also suitable for riding a scooter, skateboard or inline skates. More info

Petra Vlhová Sport Center - The Podbreziny Area is located 5 km from the center of the town Liptovský Mikuláš in the Vitališovce part. More info

SKI Centrum Demänová

Safe skiing for whole family. The ski resort located 4,5 km from the town center offers its visitors fun on the snow, skiing for beginners and advanced skiers. More info

Water Slalom Area

The Water Slalom Area is situated on the south-eastern edge of the town, on the left bank of the River Váh, waters of which feed the water tracks. It consists of two tracks – an easier, called Váh and a more demanding, called Orava. More info
