Skatepark

Three new obstacles were built in one of the largest and most modern skate parks in Slovakia, and four original ones were reconstructed. In addition to skateboarding, inline skating and scootering over obstacles are also possible.

In 2015, the Liptovský Mikuláš´s skatepark underwent extensive reconstruction as part of the European project Skateboard without Borders. The complex is located in a beautiful environment near the River Váh, it is fenced and locked. It is used by about 100 members of the St. Nicolaus Skateboard Club, but non-members are welcome, too. Every year, important events included in the Slovak Cup take place here.

Horse Riding

Admire the beauty of the Liptov region from the horse´s back or ride across a grassy or sandy surface of a riding hall. You also have an experienced trainer, who will explain everything you need. Children can ride around the riding hall. More info

In the town´s indoor swimming pool, those interested in climbing have two options, namely a bouldering wall and a climbing wall. More info

Squash Liptov

Squash centre in Liptovský Mikuláš offers its visitors an opportunity to play squash in one of two ASB squash courts. Rental service and a shop with sports equipment, a bar with a summer terrace, a children´s corner, and a mini gym are parts of the Squash Liptov centre. More info

Liptov Tennis Club

LTK Liptovský Mikuláš tennis area offers its fans 6 clay courts, a bounce wall, a playground for children, and a new service building. More info

Relax Tennis Centre

A modern multipurpose sports and relaxation complex with barrier-free access is located in the recreation area of Liptovsky Mikulas. A specialized tennis hall with training walls and one tennis court with DecoTurf surface. More info

Iľanovo tennis

Play tennis on the clay courts in a pleasant environment surrounded by forests. More info

JL Arena

Year-round skating is offered by JL Arena, which bears the name of the national team goalkeeper Jan Laco. It is a modern training hall with 4 locker rooms, facilities and an ice rink measuring 56 x 26 m. More info

Mobile ice ring

Tatrín and the Demands of the Slovak Nation

Birth House of Rázus´ Family

Birth House of Rázus´ family was part of the development of the village Vrbica, incorporated in Liptovský Mikuláš in 1923. It is the oldest part of a complex of three interconnected houses and farm buildings. More info

Exposition of Carrier Pigeon Breeding in Slovakia

An interesting exposition, documenting the history of pigeon breeding, is not found in Liptovský Mikuláš by chance. After all, the first Slovak association of carrier pigeon breeders was founded here in 1923. More info
